Welcome to Bert & Harry Subkowsky Dog Park

Picture
This beautifully tranquil dog park is nestled in the picturesque hamlet of Wallingford, with trees and well-maintained terrain for dogs to exercise, socialize and enjoy the fresh air.  It is located at 355 Quinnipiac Street, plenty of off-street parking and benches to sit and enjoy talking with other dog owners or just enjoy the sounds of the river outside of a fenced in area for your pup to frolic.
Please visit www.WDLA.org for information

We will be posting events for the dog park as well as important tips from Yalesville Veterinary Hospital quarterly.  Please stop by and enjoy what Wallingford has to offer. Puppy socialization is critical to ensure your dog has a happy and well-balanced life.  Socialization teaches your pup that making friends, listening to others and exercising is all fun !

Summer is here !! It is important to keep your dog safe while enjoying the dog park.  Please bring bottled water and a collapsible water bowl. Be sure your pet does not become overheated or exhausted from too much running around and be mindful of the temperature. In general, Toxic plants, stagnant water puddles and wildlife can be hazards. Ticks and fleas can carry a variety of disease that can also be transmittable to humans.  Make sure to use a veterinarian backed flea and tick control for your pet. Always double check your pets coat as well as their paws for unwanted stowaways.
Enjoy this beautiful park !!!
