Park Status during the Winter
The Park is CLOSED when the parking lot has not had the snow cleared. PLEASE DO NOT attempt to clear the parking lot yourself ... the Wallingford Parks and Rec Department will eventually clear the lot.
We would love the entrance way of the park to honor all our furry friends through bricks.
Brick sizes & cost: 4x8 for $60 and 8x8 for $80
If you would like to buy a brick --- Click Here for our order form, print it and mail it to our address with your payment.
*Please note that the bricks will be mailed directly to the WDLA and will be put into the front of the park in groups as we receive the bricks in groups.
Please LOCK your car doors!
Please take the time to LOCK your car doors before visiting the Bark Park! We received the report of someone's personal items taken from their car during their visit. There are no surveillance cameras at the park.
Please notify the police if you see mischief makers or experience personal items taken from a car.
It is sad that we must be diligent at all times.

The Wallingford Dog Lovers Association
On September 26, 2015 just over three years after the Wallingford Dog Lovers Association formed to bring a leash free dog park to our town, the Bert & Harry Subkowsky Bark Park opened. Since then the park has welcomed many furry family members and their humans. Still a work in progress WDLA has maintained the park along with the Parks & Recreation Dept., Wallingford Dept. of Public Works and some very helpful park attendees. We will continue to promote responsible dog ownership and we look forward to the continued support from the town departments and the park visitors. We are always looking for people willing to help with park maintenance and events. Please contact us if you are interested.
The Bert & Harry Subkowsky Bark Park is located on Quinnipiac Street, Wallingford, CT, a short distance from exit 64 on Route 15.
We would Love to hear from you!
